Shrink plastic "jumping jack" Leprechaun

I think this little guy is so fun.A "jumping jack doll"Leprechaun.

And here as a earring.

I just printed out the image and then laid the shrink paper over it and draw.It can be a bit difficult to know how to use the right ink,markers etc...to this and that paper sheets.Some of them "bleed" and some of them smear.

So,some time I can be a tiny frustrated.I have to try and try over and over again to make it right.And the shrink paper is not that cheap.

I know that Sharpie markers,StazOn ink and color pensilc are the best to use,but I want to color layering the images.

Like this:

 I have found a way to color them.It`s not a perfect solution,but it will do.

And I had to have a Santa gnome.It`s just one week unto Christmas.Holy,the time goes so fast.

Butterfly plastic necklace

This butterfly are made of shrink plastic.It always get more darker when it`s finish in the oven.I get it lighter on my computer before I print it out.But it will not get the "real" color no matter what...

I think the butterfly is still beautiful.

It was a bit tricky to make them,because the images was so big before they shrunk.They stuck together (I made them one at the time)so I had to try to separate them in the oven.It was hot on my fingers :)

Baby in womb shrink paper necklace

This little baby in womb is just so adorable.It is made of shrink paper from Silhouette.

I don`t have the Silhouette machine,but it was fine to use without.The only think was that I had to rip of the paper on back.I used a regular printer to print out the image.And when it it finish to shrink in the oven,it turned out so small compared to the other size.The color turned out much more darker too.

I got so excited,it is so much fun when you see the image shrink in the oven and turned out so beautiful.

I think a black chain would have been nice,and match perfectly.

Paper stamped Lion necklace

This is the first paper necklace I have made and I have to say I am pretty pleased. It was my first try so "perfect" is not the right word here. The necklace is not flat,it has curled a bit.But it is not a big deal,it just give the Lion a tiny bit more life to it.

 The Lion is made by stamping layers from the set by Hero Arts.I really love layering stamps.I had tree layers of the die cut head and glued them together,had some heavy on top so it should dry flat and let it set for hours.Then I glued the stamped Lion on top,let it dry and then I glued a layer on the back.Punced a hole for the jump ring and let it dry overnight.Then I coated two layers of glossy Mod Podge. 

I will also try matte Mod Podge,I think that will be nice.

It is a bit work to make.But it is so much more fun than work I think,so it doesn`t matter :)

And a little note: You can just use scrap paper to make paper jewelry,isn`t that nice..

Insert gift cards

I have played a bit with the Sizzix insert gift card die set.So much fun it was.I could not stop with the first card,I had to make five of them.

And this was yesterday late at night,so if I had not been so tired I probably would have made more.

When I looked at a You tube video how to make the card,I think it looked a bit difficult to make.But no,it is so easy.

The most difficult here,was to pick out the pattern on the paper and the colors so it could match.

I thought the card would be bigger when finish,but overall it is a nice size.

This embossed card is my favorite,plain and simple.

Crystal Katana pick up tool

Crystal Katana pick up tool is just marvelous. I received it yesterday and it`s just so easy to pick up and set the tiny stones I use in my silver jewelry. 

So I have got a new favorite tool to play with.

It is a bit expensive I have to say.I think it was about 29 dollars at Simon Says Stamp.

But I think this pick up tool is one of the best out there (maybe the best?)

Altenew stamps

Hello ♥

I think I am a little obsessed about Altenew stamps...

Oh my....And there is more to come....yes,I have ordered three more.

I have had a craft room for a while,think it is five years or so.But I have to re-organise it. First I will be finish with the kitchen and then the craft room. Puh...,it`s a lot of work,but also a lot of fun. So when the craft room is finish,I can begin to use all the stuff. It`s itching in my fingers to begin creating :)

It`s one thing that I think was a little strange (and a tiny fun) I ordered a sheet of stamps from Aliexpress and from Altenew. And one day when I had received them ,I should read the stamps with the text on it. And I had two sheets of the same stamps! The one from Altenew cost about 20 dollars and the one from Aliexpress 4 dollars and with free shipping. It`s just this one with the text (beautiful inside) that I have stumble over at the Aliexpress who is the same as Altenew.

I was thinking of giving the one to someone as a gift.Don`t need two of the same.

A little note:It take weeks to receive things from Aliexpress from the day you order. I have been waiting 4 to 6 weeks,that`the usual time for me anyway to receive here in Norway.

Altenew build a flower Poinsettia

Hello!

Today I would love to show you a flower I have made from Altenew stamps. It`s a Poinsettia who I only have made one of at this point,just to se how it turned out. 

 I have to say it was really fun to make,but it is a must (for *me* anyway) to use the Misti (stamp platform) And that`s because it was a little tricky to get enough ink on the flower buds. So with the Misti it`s "easy peasy" I could ink the buds again and again into the paper,and the stamp will ink at the accurate same place.

I used two and a half Poinsettia and foam dots to build up the flower.

And I used gold embossing at the edges and gold liquid pearls in the center.Next time I think I will use gold glitter in the center.At christmas there have to be glitter,don`t you think :) There will be more (lots more) flowers,because I will decorate the christmas tree with them. 

The Misti I used is the small one. And it is fabulous. I have ordered the Tim Holtz stamp platform also. So I will come back to review that one to.

I really like Altenew. They have beautiful build up stamps and the shipping is also fast.

Magnolia doohickeys gingerbread paper house

Hello everyone. I hope you are doing well. 

Wow,it`s been over a year since I have written something here in my blog. I have been bussy and the time fly so fast. Last summer my friend and I build a hobby room (and with that I mean a movie room, that`s one of my hobbies :) who is standing next to my house. Maybe I will take a couple of photos of it later for you to see.

And this spring and summer my friend and I have build an entry (hall) and kitchen in my house. I had a kitchen before :) but now it`s huge. It`s huge here in Norway anyway,but maybe not in the USA :) 

The kitchen looks a bit like a cabin,wood panel on the walls. We are not finish,but I hope it will be before christmas. Or before the beginning of Desember. I think so.....

So,now to the gingerbread paper houses.

I have made 24 of this small houses,because it will be a christmas calendar for my dog. I was thinking of hanging them on the tree with a little treat inside.

The roof have been covered with "snow" and for that I used a snow marker.And when the "snow" gets heated with a heat tool, it`s puff-up.

The dies is from Magnolia. I did not use the wreath and the other tiny bits,just wanted the houses to be more plain without all the stuff.

Here is my little baby (this picture as a puppy)who will get the Christmas calendar.

It`s a Petite Brabancon. They love people and are so funny ♥

I hope to be more active here in my blog and write about "everything and nothing"
